Table Top Exercise

Synthesis of the technological and scientific achievements of all tasks together with mitigation strategies.

The overall objective the TTX is to carry out for the first time an exercise regarding heat waves. The specific objective of the TTX is to test the activation of the Regional Authorities in an extreme heat wave scenario, followed by a power grid failure.

The purpose is to enhance the capability of participating organizations and individuals to prepare for and mitigate vulnerabilities during a heat wave disaster, and identify gaps or weaknesses in organizational preparedness and continuity plans, policies, and procedures.

The TTX will take place in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on 22-23 September 2016.
